On poetry- Dr. Carl Whitaker, from the University of Wisconsin, who is well known as the author of Symbolic-Experiential therapy, was once asked about how should family therapy be looking ahead? With what should it should be concerned?

He said, "Why can't we get away from all this talk of technique and get to the poetry of loving?"

For us, Symbrosia's poetry of loving and living has been a long-developing process of discovery.  Audiovisuals call out identification with issues and themes in one's life and in the lives of loved ones. Our clients learn to recognize symbols of authentic connection within themselves and how to consciously embrace them to become who they are. Here is a little bit about us and a few links we like.
